A market on a sunny July day

Another 4th Saturday, another great Market! Plenty of people wandering around which is a wonderful surprise on a chilly, albeit sunny morning. Customers were picking up their groceries from the neighbouring farmers market, then popping in for Devonshire Tea and browsing what the Little Treasures market has to offer.
So what did we have to offer this month? Plenty!! Many of our regular stallholders and a few new ones too. You could find Bows & Brooches, Cards & Candles, Quilts, Clothes, Scarves and Jewellery!

As usual Di's Designs was sewing up a storm making personalised towel, bibs and blankets
Here's her little model displaying one of the cute bibs...

Di is able to make up your personalised gifts on site while you wait! You should see some of the gorgeous Beatrix Potter, Disney and Winnie the Pooh designs she has.

And last of all for this month, who should I stumble across at the market but Puss in Boots!

Midwinter at the market

We had our 3rd Market over the weekend and while the sun was shining for most of the time, it was rather cold out. Luckily we were in the relative warmth of the Mechanics Hall. You could certainly tell it was winter just by looking at all the knitwear available for sale! Plenty of hats and scarves and even sheepskin rugs.
