Well after weeks of dismal weather we had a delightful day for the July Market, the sun was shining and the stalls we a buzz with Customers browsing through the many stalls. There was a sea of colour and a variety of stalls to select purchases from.

The Devonshire teas were a most popular destination for those who needed a well earned break, hats off to the hard working Cherelyn and Heather for their scrumptious scones.

Sorry we haven't put anything up in the last 6 or so months we have been a bit short of help.

We have had a few new members join on in administration so we are more confident that any questions via emails can be handled and answered promptly. So feel free to email us about any questions regarding the market.

A Sunny September Market

September came so quickly and we've had some wonderful new stallholders join the market. Of course with new stallholders come new market goers and this months market was a bumper one!

We are gradually expanding our Market which is delightful, we have several new stalls which includes Vintage Figtree, offering loads of fantastic goodies, such as Childrens products, wheat Bags, Draft stoppers, Childrens Jewellery and lots lots more. Another 4th Saturday, another great Market! Plenty of people wandering around which is a wonderful surprise on a chilly, albeit sunny morning. Customers were picking up their groceries from the neighbouring farmers market, then popping in for Devonshire Tea and browsing what the Little Treasures market has to offer.
So what did we have to offer this month? Plenty!! Many of our regular stallholders and a few new ones too. You could find Bows & Brooches, Cards & Candles, Quilts, Clothes, Scarves and Jewellery!

As usual Di's Designs was sewing up a storm making personalised towel, bibs and blankets
Here's her little model displaying one of the cute bibs...

Di is able to make up your personalised gifts on site while you wait! You should see some of the gorgeous Beatrix Potter, Disney and Winnie the Pooh designs she has.

And last of all for this month, who should I stumble across at the market but Puss in Boots!

Midwinter at the market

We had our 3rd Market over the weekend and while the sun was shining for most of the time, it was rather cold out. Luckily we were in the relative warmth of the Mechanics Hall. You could certainly tell it was winter just by looking at all the knitwear available for sale! Plenty of hats and scarves and even sheepskin rugs.
